This role will focus on supporting the sales team by researching and generating a highly targeted and accurate list of business leads with the correct information. The quality of these lists defines the effectiveness of our outbound prospecting team. Ultimately, the role will boost sales by generating pipeline leads and contribute to our long-term business growth and make an impact to the success of the organization.

Essential Job Functions

  • Research and generate an accurate company and contact list of business leads, within the relevant target markets
  • Use LinkedIn or other online resources such as lead generation tools, checking websites, to gather the correct contact information
  • Be able to cold-call prospects to confirm the correct information or to get missing details, where required
  • Capture the correct information into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Record contact lists in Excel database ensuring accurate entries
  • A minimum number of contacts will be required daily

Minimum Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma
  • Prior professional work experience as an Administrator, Researcher or related field
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, Excel etc.)

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications or similar field of study or equivalent experience
  • Experience with CRM software is an advantage
  • Prior sales experience
  • Financial Institution expertise
  • Experience working in SaaS or professional services company
