Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Senior Phase Core Maths, Physical Science, and all grades Afrikaans Tutor at Tutor Doctor Sandton, located in Johannesburg. The tutor will be responsible for providing personalized, one-on-one tutoring sessions, preparing lesson plans, and assisting students with their homework and test preparation. Tutors will also track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to improve academic performance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Core Maths and Physical Science for the Senior Phase OR
• Capability to tutor Afrikaans across all grades
• Experience in creating lesson plans and tailored tutoring strategies in alignment with student's core learning style.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to objectively assess student progress and adapt teaching methods
• Patience, dedication, and a passion for helping students succeed
• Relevant degree or certification in education or subject matter expertise is a plus
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is advantageous
