Position Overview:
Join Barron, a leader in promotional printing, as our Production: Embroidery Planner. This pivotal role is responsible for optimizing daily production schedules across various branding types, ensuring all orders are completed on time while maintaining high standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Scheduling and Order Management:

    • Ensure prompt scheduling of paid and approved orders within specified lead times.
    • Manage production capacities across embroidery.
  • Capacity Management:

    • Monitor and adjust floor capacity to maximize production efficiency.
    • Coordinate additional casual workers as needed to meet production demands.
  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP):

    • Attend daily meetings to review and adjust production schedules.
    • Provide feedback on aged orders and update schedules accordingly.
  • Issue Resolution:

    • Address escalations promptly and provide accurate feedback on resolutions.
    • Assist sales team with branding quotes when required.
  • Deadline Management:

    • Adjust schedules to accommodate urgent orders without compromising quality.
    • Monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in production scheduling or similar role, preferably in printing or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, lead times, and capacity planning.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office Suite.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
