Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Embedded Engineering Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of embedded hardware and firmware development projects. In addition to managing core project lifecycles, this role will increasingly focus on supporting procurement management and operational scalability, with high potential for embedded systems capability.
This is a strategic role requiring strong project leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a proactive approach to process development. The ideal candidate will combine a solid understanding of technical project management with an interest in contributing to procurement, supply chain setup, and systems operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and deliver embedded system projects within defined timelines, scope, and quality standards.
- Coordinate deliverables across cross-functional teams.
- Identify and manage project risks, interdependencies, and critical paths to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive the development and maintenance of project documentation and reporting throughout the lifecycle.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support procurement processes, including supplier coordination and supply chain setup, to ensure timely access to components and materials.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory consumables and improving related operational processes.
- Promote efficiency through the continuous improvement of workflows and project delivery frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BEng), Commerce (BCom), or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in embedded hardware and firmware development is advantageous.
- Familiarity with procurement, supply chain coordination, or component sourcing is beneficial.
