Job Description

Europcar, a leading car rental company, is looking for a proactive team player to join their Credit Administration team based at the Head Office in Bruma. Applications are encouraged from those who thrive in administrative work. The ideal candidate are those who have great attention to detail, have a year of administrative experience within an debtors environment and who are able to work well under pressure.

Position Overview

The purpose of the position is to provide administrative support to the Debtors department that achieves team collection objectives and minimizes risk.

Specific Role Responsibilities

Job Outputs:

  • Responsible for Van Rental card accounts
    • DBB55 daily (FNB Type 5 File Recon)
    • RNR73 allocations daily
    • Journals
    • Preparation of refunds
    • Book review/recon after month-end
  • Van Rental bank statement update daily
    • Recon – unidentified’s
  • RNR73 allocations daily for Swaziland & Lesotho
    • Preparation of any refunds due
  • Responsible for TOKEN account
    • Daily allocations
    • Moving of failed transactions (weekly)
    • Card queries
    • Book review/recon after month-end
  • Claims *no to bank* refund (EC & TCH)
    • Manage the report & daily update to Line Manager to refund
  • Europcar debit card allocations (DBB56)
  • Nedbank bank statement update daily
  • Customer Services *no to bank* process & manage generic mailbox
  • Various duties at the discretion of management and as required within the department
  • Provide all round support to the Debtors Team

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Experience

  • 2 year’s admin experience in a credit control/finance environment.


Minimum Qualification

  • NQF level 4 qualification (Grade 12 or equivalent)

Minimum Requirements

  • Computer literacy with high level of accuracy, especially in MS Office. MS Excel skills on an intermediate level.
