Minimum Requirements

You must be studying towards a SAICA accredited degree or a SAICA accredited post-graduate degree. You can find a list of SAICA accredited degrees on the SAICA website.
Essential languages include English and Afrikaans. Basic understanding of Afrikaans is required.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing and executing all tasks assigned to gain the necessary exposure to obtain the skills and competencies as required by the SAICA Training Program.
- Managing and liaising with own client portfolio.
- Planning, executing, and finalising audits according to the audit plan. This also includes liaising with audit clients, executing fieldwork at the client's premises, and attending stockcounts.
- Conducting independent reviews.
- Preparation of annual financial statements for compliance with the applicable reporting standards i.e. International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS and IFRS for Small to Medium Enterprises).
- Computation of corporate, trusts, and individual tax liability in terms of the Income Tax Act.
- Completion of income tax returns via SARS e-filing for companies, trusts, and individuals.
- Calculate provisional taxes for companies, trusts, and individuals.
