My client (multinational FMCG) is seeking a seasoned Brand/Marketing Manager who can lead with both strategic foresight and hands-on execution, driving top-line growth while managing a high-performing marketing team
You'll take full accountability for the success of the brand, shaping long- and short-term strategies, guiding innovation, driving execution, and managing cross-functional collaboration. You'll be the bridge between Marketing, R&D, Finance, and Commercial - turning insight into action and growth
Responsibilities includeBrand Strategy & Planning
Develop, implement, and lead short- and long-term brand strategies
Create actionable plans to deliver volume and profit targets
Translate insights into growth opportunities
Brand & Business Performance
Track brand performance (volume, value, profitability)
Identify and exploit market opportunities
Lead innovation, product launches, and renovation strategies
Brand Management
Be the key interface between Marketing Director and the team
Lead external agencies and internal functions to execute brand plans
Own and execute communications strategy
Research & Market Insights
Work with the Strategy & Insights team to drive category, consumer, and media research
Implement trends and data into actionable campaigns
Cross-Functional Integration
Partner with R&D, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and Trade Marketing
Align all functions behind marketing objectives and project timelines
Budget & P&L
Manage brand budgets and marketing spend
Analyse P&L to ensure brand profitability
Support the Marketing Director in setting budget forecasts
Team Leadership
Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing marketing team
Set objectives, manage performance, and drive growth through people
Required Skills
Experience in Marketing or Brand Management within FMCG
Proven P&L ownership and experience leading product innovations and launches
Strong commercial acumen, able to connect the dots between insight and profitability
Confident managing cross-functional teams and influencing at Director level
Experienced in working with research agencies, consumer insights, and media strategy
Ability to manage multiple projects with a strong problem-solving mindset
Solid leadership experience with a track record of coaching and team development
