We are seeking a Finance Graduate to join our South African regional accounting team. The role is responsible for a broad range of duties primarily for effective and accurate processing within the accounts payable function, statutory compliance, maintenance of a strong internal control environment and business support.

We are seeking a Finance Graduate to join our South African regional accounting team. What You’ll Do
- Ensuring the accurate data entry of supplier invoices against Purchase Orders
- Applying the correct tax code to supplier invoices
- Requesting supplier statements
- Ensure all invoices/expenses are entered and authorised before scheduled multi office payment runs
- Preparing and posting accrual and prepayments and ad hoc journals in relation to accounts payable
- Processing of business-related expenses and auditing receipts for all expense claims
- Ensuring accurate cost allocation of all Travel & Entertainment expenses
- Cover for processing/allocating payments
- Other ad hoc accounting duties as required including cover during periods of high-workloads and absences.
- Cashbooks – daily recons and journals
- Raising of monthly intercompany journals
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolution of action items
- Fixed Assets
- Monthly preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Preparation and analysis of cashflow monitor Actuals
- Methodical, diligent, accurate and accountable
- Knowledge of Debit and Credit entries for manual journals
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Protect the confidentiality of staff and our vendors
- Works to a high level of integrity.
- Ability to manage time and prioritise
- Proactive with problem solving skills
- Adhere to and maintain strong internal controls
- Completed BCom Accounting Degree
