Job Description Analyse, consolidate and report information to inform pricing strategy and internal client's decision making
  • Manage costs / expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Revenue and Income Growth of New Market and New Business Support
  • Interacting with existing and new Product Houses in attaining pricing related data
  • Solving any pricing related queries within a turnaround time of 24 hrs.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience that exceeds customers' and stakeholders' expectations through proactive and appropriate solutions and communication.
  • Testing all monthly exception files against source to ensure the rules are correct.
  • Maintenance and data integrity checks of the pricing database and maintaining all new pricing codes on system and ensuring that the Product Schedule is always up to date.
  • Assisting Pricing Operations in the smooth running of the annual and ad-hoc pricing process and identifying improvements to the pricing process
  • Project managing key projects that affect pricing directly.
  • Testing all pricing-related issues on UAT
  • Ensuring that the Data Integrity report is always clean and check the extraction files to ensuring the information on the pricing database file is accurate before sending monthly the pricing exception reports to users.
  • Manage personal development to increase own skills and competencies.
  • Assisting and training of users in using Siebel for pricing
  • Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity.
  • Develop, encourage, and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialization.
Additional Requirements
  • 2 years of financial/banking services experience (advantageous)
  • Previous pricing, front line and operational work experience (advantageous)
  • Preferably with forex, vantage, HOGAN, and/or Siebel experience (advantageous)
  • Must have some interest in data science.
  • You will be required to run and edit some code created by data scientist on SAS and other programs to evaluate client data
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data and reports
  • Financial degree
  • Ability to debug pricing issues
