In this division our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands – including Similac, PediaSure, Pedialyte, Ensure, Glucerna and ZonePerfect – to help get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest life.What You’ll DoDeliver flawless execution of sales strategies to smash targets.Own your region’s growth, market share, and performance.Master the art of SFE KPIs – from call rates to coverage.Bring promotions to life with precision and budget discipline.Be the eyes and ears on the ground – spot underperformance and act fast.Keep tabs on pricing and competition with monthly surveys.Ensure perfect product placement and POS execution.Build powerful in-store relationships and negotiate prime display space.Lead merchandising excellence and train pharmacy staff.Collaborate with reps and managers to ensure stock availability and SKU performance.Required QualificationsBA/BSc DegreeMBA/Postgrad desirable with preferred focus on strategy, marketing, and financeSeasoned experience in sales and/or marketing.Strong project experience in commercial areaPreferred Qualifications3 years of pharmacy sales experience is mandatory.Close working relationship with head buyers, regional buyers, store managers, regional managers and merchandising partnersExperience and established pharmacy relationships essential.Fluent in English and Afrikaans.Strong sales track record, sound organizational skills and time management skillHistory of superior territory coverage in the Johannesburg area will be an advantage.Positive with a can-do attitude.Integrity, initiative, and adaptability.Entrepreneurial spirit.Skilled negotiator, problem solver, and closer.Ability to develop long-term business relationships.Good communicator and self-motivatedBusiness planning acumen and ability.Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Compliance with company Code of Conduct.Apply NowFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
