Main purpose: The role exists to ensure that the E-Commerce & Brand Licensing Manager drives our online retail growth and brand partnerships. This dual-role position requires expertise in Shopify Plus, e-commerce operations, logistics/warehouse management, as well as in-depth knowledge of merchandise licensing, royalty structures, and relationship management. The incumbent will manage our digital storefront, ensure efficient fulfillment processes, and oversee all aspects of licensing from negotiation to the accurate calculation and disbursement of royalties Responsibilities: E-Commerce & Logistics Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our **Shopify Plus** e-commerce platform to ensure a seamless customer experience and optimal transaction flow.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize product listings, improve customer engagement, and boost conversion rates.
  • Manage inventory, warehouse operations, and logistics to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and streamline supply chain processes.
  • Analyze e-commerce performance metrics to drive strategy adjustments and performance improvements.
  • Ensure all digital operations align with data security standards and industry best practices.

Brand Licensing, Merch Licensing & Relationship Management
  • Identify and negotiate licensing agreements that extend into merchandise, including licensed clothing and accessory products.
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with fashion brands, artists, and influencers, ensuring that licensing partnerships align with company objectives.
  • Oversee merchandising licensing deals with an emphasis on contract terms that clearly detail royalty structures, payment terms, and sales thresholds.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of intellectual property rights and the legal aspects of brand licensing agreements.
  • Monitor and manage royalty calculations, working closely with finance and legal teams to ensure precise, timely payments and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Utilize data analysis from sales metrics to forecast royalty revenue streams and negotiate more favorable terms for both parties.
  • Coordinate with legal, accounting, and marketing departments to ensure all licensing agreements and royalty disbursements meet regulatory compliance and internal standards.
  • Stay informed on market trends and industry developments in merchandise licensing to guide strategic decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • **Shopify Plus Expertise:** Proven experience managing large-scale e-commerce operations on Shopify Plus.
  • **Warehouse & Logistics Management:** Solid background in running efficient warehouse operations and logistics, with strong supply chain optimization skills.
  • **Merchandise Licensing:** Demonstrable experience in negotiating and managing merchandising deals, particularly in the clothing or fashion sectors.
  • **Royalty Management:** Deep understanding of royalty payment structures, contract administration, and the nuances of revenue forecasting from licensed merchandise.
  • Analytical mindset with prowess in using e-commerce analytics tools to drive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and with external partners.
  • Strong organizational abilities with an aptitude for managing complexity and multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with global or high-profile fashion brands.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies tailored to licensed product lines.
  • Familiarity with fulfillment platforms, third-party logistics (3PL) solutions, and the specific accounting principles behind royalty management.
  • Proven track record of leveraging data analytics to enhance licensing revenue and optimize e-commerce performance.
