External Marker (Commerce)

Eduvos is seeking to appoint an Independent Contractor to assist with marking responsibilities across various modules in the Commerce Faculty at our Eduvos Vanderbijlpark campus, on a part-time contractual basis.

Remuneration & Training:

• Payment is based on the number of scripts marked, according to a sliding scale based on module level (Level 1, 2, or 3).
• Training will be provided to ensure consistency and adherence to marking standards.

Minimum Requirements

Requirements:

• Qualification: Relevant MBA in the field of Commerce.
• Relevant subject knowledge in Commerce.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure fair and consistent assessment.
• Computer literacy (essential for online marking and administrative tasks).
• Ability to meet strict deadlines (non-negotiable).
• Team player mindset with good communication skills.
• Hybrid work agreement will be dependent on subject allocations - external markers may be required to collect / mark paper-based assessments at the allocated Eduvos campus

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Marking paper-based assessments, to be collected and returned to the designated campus.
• Marking online scripts via the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Accurately recording and submitting marks on the LMS.

Remuneration & Training:

• Payment is based on the number of scripts marked, according to a sliding scale based on module level (Level 1, 2, or 3).
• Mandatory training will be provided to ensure consistency and adherence to marking standards.
