Background
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will play a key role in supporting the implementation of effective and efficient monitoring and evaluation for GEF8 and other selected project(s) to align to organisational performance and donor reporting. Reporting to the MEL Manager and Programme Manager the position focuses on implementing the project MEL Framework, data collection and management, developing and managing data collection tools, developing specific data sets and providing technical support for reporting in both the GEF8 and other selected projects.
The MEL officer role is allocated 70% to the GEF8 project with the remaining 30% to be allocated to selected projects as decided by the MEL Manager.
