Role | Senior Project Manager
Cirrico

Cirrico is a Salesforce Implementation Partner based in the United Kingdom, focused on implementing impactful solutions by configuring and developing the Salesforce platform to support nonprofit organisations and socially responsible enterprises.
As a Project Manager, you will provide leadership, direction, and management for our Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and optimisation of Salesforce solutions.
This role is highly hands-on, involving key responsibilities such as process resourcing, leave approval, project planning, and making critical project-dependent decisions.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities will include:
- Ownership & Accountability: Transparently manage all aspects of your projects. Take full ownership and accountability for delivering successful outcomes, while driving standards and setting clear expectations with both internal teams and customers.
- Project Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams to achieve project outcomes and deliverables, ensuring work is commercially aligned — delivered within agreed scope and timeframes or appropriately extended through paid engagements.
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as the first point of escalation for customer issues and conflicts, resolving concerns promptly and diplomatically in alignment with commercial interests. Drive timely sign-off of deliverables and proactively manage expectations to maintain strong, trust-based relationships.
- Effective Sprint Planning: Lead and facilitate sprint planning sessions, ensuring clear prioritisation of backlog items, realistic sprint goals, and alignment between development capacity and project deliverables.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster positive and transparent relationships with stakeholders, manage their feedback, challenge where necessary to meet project goals, and minimise potential obstacles.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, regularly updating project status, risks, and issues.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, proposed resource allocation, and risk assessment. Manage and monitor project budgets effectively and communicate proactively. This includes Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid project methodologies.
- Vendor Management: Oversee and manage third-party vendors and consultants (when appropriate), ensuring they meet project objectives and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure robust quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality Salesforce solutions.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success. - Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
The person we’re looking for will likely be:
- Strong project management experience in a consulting or customer-facing role.
- Able to manage multiple projects at once while staying organised and focused.
- Confident using JIRA, Slack, Google Workspace, and Docusign (or similar tools) to track progress, manage sprints, and flag risks.
- Experienced with Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall. Able to adapt methods to suit the project.
- A clear and transparent communicator with a growth mindset.
- Taking full ownership of project outcomes and driving work forward.
- Handles difficult conversations with customers, especially around Change Requests and scope.
- Leads teams well. Delegates clearly and challenges others to meet high standards.
- Focused on delivering value and results for the customer.
- Understands the commercial context – we only do paid work, and sign-off matters.
- Experience delivering software projects, ideally Salesforce.
- Salesforce certification is desirable.
