Technical Illustrator 1

DUTIES:

• Creating Illustrated component breakdowns of supplier components from parts
• Parts manual verification and validation responsibilities.
• Computer generated technical illustrating of Bell machines & parts manuals
• Drawing of Decals in Corel draw
• Compiling of parts manuals up to the Intranet stage
• Research & information verification
• Compiling information for outsourcing & internal manual requirements
• Gathering information & creating Operators/Service manuals & service bulletins

REQUIREMENTS:

• Abet level 4 with Maths – preference will be given to applicants with a Technical Illustrator diploma or certificate.
• Demonstrate knowledge in current PTC software packages at Bell (windchill PDM link, MPM link, Arbortext & Creo Illustrate) will be an added advantage.
• Applicants must be meticulous & have a willingness to solve problems, do research and work in a task orientated team environment towards set goals.
• Negotiation & good written / communication skills are essential.
• Must be computer literate/proficient using MS Windows.
• Working knowledge of Corel Draw will be an added advantage.
• Bell product knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Photoshop experience will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of Mapics AS400, Adobe Acrobat or related software would be an added advantage.
• Applicants need to be self driven & motivated
• Working knowledge of Framemaker & Ventura will be an added advantage
