Diagnostic & Fault Finding:
Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot faults in electrical systems, engine management systems, transmissions, and other critical vehicle systems.

Electrical Systems Repair:
Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including issues with wiring, batteries, alternators, sensors, and more.

Routine Maintenance:
Conduct regular maintenance checks and services on FCA vehicles, focusing on electrical and mechanical systems.

System Testing & Calibration:
Perform thorough testing and calibration of electrical systems to ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Software Updates & ECU Reprogramming:
Reprogram vehicle ECUs and ensure software updates are completed as required for optimal vehicle performance.

Customer Service & Communication:
Interact with customers to explain vehicle issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Documentation:
Maintain detailed and accurate service records, repair logs, and diagnostic reports for each vehicle.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with fellow technicians, service advisors, and management to streamline processes and ensure efficient workflow.

Safety & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols while working with automotive electrical systems, ensuring the workplace remains safe and compliant with industry regulations.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, with specific focus on FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) vehicles, automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, and fault finding.

Certifications:
ASE certification or equivalent in Automotive Electrical Systems is preferred, or relevant industry qualifications.

Knowledge:
Solid understanding of FCA vehicles' electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, sensors, control units, and communication protocols.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, multi meters, oscilloscopes, and vehicle-specific software for diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Problem-Solving:
Strong ability to diagnose complex electrical faults and recommend effective solutions.

Communication Skills:
Ability to clearly communicate technical information to customers and team members.

Attention to Detail:
Precision in completing repairs, diagnostics, and documentation.

Team Player:
Ability to collaborate effectively with other technicians and service advisors.

Licensing:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous experience working with FCA brands, such as Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo.

Familiarity with hybrid or electric vehicle systems.

Experience with FCA-specific diagnostic software.

Knowledge of current industry trends and technology in automotive electrical systems.
