Job Description

Motus IT Applications Service Desk is currently looking for a permanent ASD Support Consultant- Accounts & Vehicles.

This role’s core function is the support business in regard to Accounts and VM functionality within the IMS/DMS.

Knowledge transfer to team members.

This role’s core function is the support business in regard to Accounts and VM functionality within the IMS/DMS.

Specific Role Responsibilities

  • Daily IDJ checks
  • Daily system checks (Early Morning)
  • Offer assistance to colleagues
  • Daily time management and call resolutions
  • Promote team culture
  • Regular management feedback on all areas of work
  • Monthly transport price file
  • Be alert to logs and escalate same problem tickets timeously
  • IMS & DMS system support to customers
  • Customer support via telephone
  • Responsible for follow up on ageing tickets
  • Professional Customer Relation Phone Etiquette always
  • Follow policies and procedures in place by management
  • Escalation and re-allocation of tickets to other departments via team leader
  • Escalation of tickets to vendors via team leader
  • Possible site visits from time to time as long as not impacting on tickets
  • Should be able to work under pressure according to deadlines
  • Cross train and upskill peers
  • Training business users when required

Other:

  • Month end Support cell phone (Sat)
  • After hours support when required during the week / weekends


Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric & IT related Degree/Diploma
  • 3 years’ experience on DMS applications mandatory (Drive, Drive IA, Evolve, Rev8)
  • 5 years experience in the Motor Industry trade and dealership in the Accounts and VM field would be beneficial
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong in Excel
  • Understanding and experience in working on a support desk platform
