Wellbeing Technician

As a Wellbeing Technician, you’ll guide clients through Expand’s core wellness modalities including red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, PEMF, and more. Your role is hands-on, client-facing, and rooted in care. You’ll be trained to safely operate each modality, ensure every session runs smoothly, and help each client feel relaxed, informed, and cared for.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Session Management: Set up, operate, and monitor all wellbeing technologies (training provided)
• Client Interaction: Welcome clients, explain treatments clearly, and ensure they feel supported throughout
• Service Excellence: Anticipate client needs and go the extra mile to create a smooth, elevated experience
• Shift Readiness: Keep rooms and equipment clean, reset between sessions, and help maintain a calm, ordered space
• Team Collaboration: Communicate with the reception and practitioner teams to ensure each client’s visit is seamless
  
  
  

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, calm, and confident working with clients all day
• Passionate about health, wellness, and longevity (formal training not required, curiosity is)
• Comfortable standing, walking, and being on their feet throughout a shift
• Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and great with time management
• Open to learning new technologies and following safe operating protocols
• Previous experience in a spa, wellness, hospitality, or fitness environment is a plus

• Hours: 5 to 6 shifts/week (mix of weekdays and Saturdays), full-day shifts
• 20 days paid annual leave + South African public holidays
