Senior Tester (NetSuite & Gravity)

Experience Level: 10+ years

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tester with over a decade of QA and system testing experience, including hands-on expertise in NetSuite and Gravity software platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of mission-critical ERP and financial systems through structured testing and process validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases across NetSuite and Gravity platforms.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Functional Consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• Conduct system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on ERP customizations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Lead end-to-end testing efforts across finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Reporting.
• Identify, track, and manage defects using relevant tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in data validation, migration testing, and reconciliation processes to support ERP implementations and upgrades.
• Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and documentation to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices, standards, and SOX/internal audit controls.
• Mentor junior QA testers and lead test efforts within agile and waterfall project environments.
  
  
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of software testing experience, with a strong QA background.
• Proven expertise in testing ERP systems, particularly NetSuite and Gravity.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, workflows, and compliance testing.
• Experience with test automation tools is advantageous.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test result verification.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a test lead in cross-functional teams.
  
  
  

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• ISTQB Certification or equivalent (Preferred).
• NetSuite or Gravity system training/certifications are a plus.
