National Parts Administration Controller

DUTIES:

• Prepare and publish the parts sales performance and related reporting on a daily basis
• Regularly review and maintain the parts stocking parameters with high levels of accuracy
• Engage with the Inventory & strategic teams to stay abreast of the platforms, requirements and targets
• Control, review and upload the approved strategic stocking requirements per CSC
• Develop KPI related tracking reports to serve as a guide on the performances to targets
• Prepare and present management with regular updates on the parts sales & inventory performances to KPI's
• Offer stocking suggestions to the branch network based on RPL reviews and sales trends
• Evaluate are re-distribute the slow-moving parts amongst the network of branches, where possible
• Prepare & motivate a maximum monthly stock returns to the GLC ( warehouse ) for credit
• Release the approval numbers for robbing of machine, monitor the progress of the replacements and update the related register
• Liase with the BESSA, GLC & Factory teams to have all 3rd party product service kits created & priced in SAP
• Conduct regular TEAMS based meetings with the parts team to ensure that their reports are well managed
• Assist with online training and development of the parts staff as and when required
• Assist with audits to ensure compliance with processes and policies by the branches & parts teams
• Be available to support and assist management and the team as and when required
• Comply with all company policies and OHS rules and regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric
• Valid code 8 driver’s licence
• Excellent understanding of SAP and transactional reporting
• Must have the ability to develop reports to analyse and measure statistics
• Strong understanding of demand-based forecasting, inventory management and optimisation
• Must have excellent reporting wring and presentation development skills
• Must have excellent ability to work with spreadsheets including V-look ups etc
• A good understanding and creation of BI reporting would be advantageous
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Must be willing to travel as and when required to
• Must be willing to work long hours with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work with and manage people well
• Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, under extreme pressure and as part of a Team as well
