- Ensure efficient receiving, offloading and despatching of raw materials.
- Filling of bulk tanks
- Ensure materials are neatly and securely stacked in the Raw Material demarcated areas.
- Confirmation of receipts of all incoming materials and follow-up of all purchasing transactions
- Responsible for offloading raw material deliveries as schedule.
- Call off raw material
- MIGO of all raw materials received in line with receiving procedure.
- 5S & housekeeping: including raw material areas, Paper store and Containers
- Cycle count
- Weekly raw material counts
- Monthly stock take
- EHS compliance
- OSHAS compliance
- Be involved in WCM activities and use of tools and an active member of the Customer service pillar.
- Maintain workplace and machinery in a clean and workable condition.
- Dress paper where necessary
- Ensure to comply to ICRF compliance
- To action any reasonable request from your manager / supervisor
Is this job for you?
The ideal candidate must have a completed Matric and a valid forklift license. The candidate must have 1-2 years stacking experience on stacking paper reels and should have some knowledge of all raw materials stored in the paper store. The role will require someone who has good physical warehouse organisation skills as well as priori experience on conducting quality checks on raw material. The candidate should understand the NCR process and have a good attitude and solid communication skills.
To make sure nothing is forgotten
This role will be executing all tasks specified by warehouse manager or warehouse superintendent with regards to accurate recording and controlling of product movement. This candidate will be required to make use of WCM tools.
