Scrum Master

Description

We’re looking for an experienced and Agile-led Scrum Master to join our high-performing team in Cape Town, South Africa.

As one of our first Scrum Master hires into the business, we’re looking for someone who can own, shape and lead the implementation of Agile ways of working and project management.

You’ll play an extremely important part in our growth – acting as the glue between the consultants and clients to ensure smooth delivery of our complex projects.

What you'll be doing...

Adopt Agile thinking and ways of working

• You’ll be using Agile methodology values and principles such as facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retros with our consultants.
• You'll prioritise building relationships with our consultants to ensure they're motivated and working together towards project goals.

Owning and managing the full project life-cycle

• You’ll be expected to manage the full project life-cycle, making improvements and adjustments as needed to ensure impeccable timing and delivery.
• With a delivery mindset you'll need to be excellent at co-coordinating between teams and ensuring the projects are moving forward as they should.

Identify and implement process improvements

• You’ll be tasked on improving processes to foster a culture of continuous improvement such as monitoring progress and performance.
• You’ll help focus the team on customer and client value and quality – resolving conflicts, identifying risks and recommend solutions.

Stakeholder management

• You’ll partner with key stakeholders both internally and externally to track, report, and provide visibility across the teams all whilst ensuring a data-driven approach to decision making.
• Be expected to facilitate communication within the team and with external stakeholders, ensuring that any updates, changes, or challenges are clearly communicated.

What we're looking for...

We're looking for a Scrum Master with experience in analytics projects who thrives on collaboration and productivity with;

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with or within an Azure DevOps and CI/CD environment.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise analytics platforms and/or Power BI.
• Completed or currently carrying out an Agile/Project Management/Scrum Master course or certification.
• Experience with Databricks is a huge bonus (but not a must-have!)
