De-Piler and Infeed Operator

• Ensure that production is done according to the Production Plan
• Operational, HMI and Equipment understanding of the De-piling, Stacking and Packaging steps
• Automatic and manual operation of de-piler infeed
• Understanding of conveyor sequencing
• Start-up, continuous and shut-down activities of De-piler and Stacker
• Ensure the correct settings and process parameters are being used for each product type
• Conduct Visual inspections on the board
• Conduct in-line quality tests and operational inspections as required
• Rejection of poor-quality boards
• Troubleshooting operational issues and quality defects
• Stacking and Packing Operation when required
• Cutting of samples when required

The ideal candidate must have a completed Matric and should have at least two to three years’ experience in production and have some knowledge on maintenance.

This role is responsible for operating the de-piler infeed and conducting visual inspections of the board. This is key role that must understand the entire de-piling section (de-piling infeed, transfer tables, stacking and packaging) to assist when required in the different areas. This role will require someone who is able to conduct site emergency and after-hours emergency procedures as well as specific LOTO procedure and Incident Reporting process, not forgetting to conduct product visual checking and inspection.
