Forklift and FEL Operator

• Loading stacking into de-piler infeed
• Loading pallets in de-piler
• Transferring final product to warehouse
• Transferring metal template stacks to storage area
• Loading and unloading of autoclaves when required
• Operating FEL/tractor when required
• Refill of metal templates to piler infeed
• Work according to health and safety regulations
• Immediately communicate any major breakdown or yield loss to the Foreman
• Carrying out AM projects and activities to restore basic machine condition
• Achieve all AM projects targets
• Complete all daily Hierarchy and operational checklists
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in the plant

The ideal candidate must have a completed Matric and have a FLT Drivers licence, the candidate must possess a Certificate and licence for Front End loader or Tractor. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience in production and have some knowledge on maintenance.

This role is responsible for loading cured stacks into the de-piler infeed, transferring final product to the warehouse, re-filling the stacker with pallets and transferring metal template stacks to WIP area. This role will also assist in other forklift or FEL/tractor activities when required. This role will require someone who is able to conduct site emergency and after-hours emergency procedures as well as specific LOTO procedure and Incident Reporting process.
