ABOUT THE JOB:

  • Lead Foundation Portfolio strategy & activation plan based on global guidance & local market dynamics.
  • Regular assessment of foundation portfolio LCM based on financial & market attractiveness.
  • Analyse portfolio pricing, GM percentage improvement initiatives & commercial schemes
  • Resources Optimization initiatives & analyse performance indicators.
  • Support in key global/ local projects “strategic exercises – StratEx – Tactical plans – SBCP – others”
  • Lead the Pharma Launch Excellence Process
  • Manage and support all Pharma meetings, with appropriate governance, including tracking performance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead Foundation Portfolio strategy & activation plan based on global guidance & local market dynamics:

  • Utilize marketing, financial & analytical skills capabilities to shape foundation portfolio assumptions “growth – BOI maximization – Simplification” to land on leveraged segmentation analysis positively reflected on overall financials respecting brands potential & market dynamics.
  • Full coordination with finance, trade, sales and marketing, medical, transformation head, outsourcing teams to have meaningful inputs matching project needs.
  • Shape portfolio strategy as part of transformation journey based on omnichannel utilization with high level of coordination with Omnichannel & marketing teams.
  • Networking with community team & global heads to agree on action plans, follow-up key recommendations on regular basis.
  • Support execution of key portfolio projects that extend beyond promoted brands.


Regular assessment of foundation portfolio LCM based on financial & market attractiveness:

  • Rereferring to different financial cycles “C1, C2 & Budget exercises” perform & analyse both financial, market attractiveness +CAGR% to assess relevant brands/ portfolio segmentation to support further decision making.
  • Coordinate with marketing, outsourcing & transformation heads to assess OPEX/ sales ratios and relevant brands potential based on financial cycles and real market opportunities.
  • Support in deciding for relevant brands/ SKUs potential for outsourcing referring to teams’ capacity & portfolio mix.
  • Active participation in annual sizing exercises in collaboration with sales, marketing, SFE, transformation head to leverage transformation journey based on global/ local directions.


Analyse portfolio pricing, GM% improvement initiatives & commercial schemes:

  • With pricing, trade, DRA managers, assess potential price increases for relevant portfolio based on costing sheets, company margins, competitors pricing.
  • With finance support, study impact of potential price increases on P&L according to financial cycles.
  • Review commercial policies with finance and T&R teams for all relevant range on monthly basis to assess based on agreed commercial mechanism.
  • Challenge & support sales management “including outsourcing” to set right commercial policies and support directly with transformation head for non-promoted range with T&R team.
  • Supported with IA, finance to develop regular checkpoints/ milestone to improve/ or anticipate GM% initiatives supporting overall product’s contribution.


Resources Optimization initiatives & analyse performance indicators:

  • Support management to decide on potential range for inhouse promotion, outsourcing.
  • Pruning & and divestment projects design & follow-up
  • Develop & analyse dashboards and key performance indicators for Pharma management team to identify key opportunities/ risks relevant to business areas.


Support in key global/ local projects “strategic exercises – StratEx – Tactical plans – SBCP – others”:

  • Active participation in annual planning for tactical plan, SBCP
  • Based on foundation portfolio activation plan, assess StratEx plan with community/ global team to be part of C1, C2 &Budget yearly exercises
  • For non-promoted, assess brands evolution & planning with finance and T&R teams.


Launch Excellence:

  • Full launch project management and tracking according to the Sanofi Launch Excellence Framework
  • Management and maintenance of the Ignite Launch tool with all Sanofi functions and Country Launch Excellence Lead
  • Preparation of launch dashboards for tracking and reporting.
  • Act as custodian for launch governance in Pharma in alignment with MCO and global requirements.


Other:

  • Responsible for applying the HSE related requirements for the company in all related working procedures.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

ABOUT YOU:

Education:

  • Completed Health Sciences or related Tertiary qualification, Project management certification, Qualification in Business management


Experience:

  • Strong operational and commercial healthcare industry experiences spanning (at least 5 years).
  • Sound and demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical functions and responsibilities: Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Medical, Regulatory, Trade & Revenue
  • Experience in project management, and capacity to adopt and lead agile work teams.
  • Sound understanding of the evolving digital landscape in Pharma go-to-market capabilities (GTTMC)
