Job Description: Accountant
We are looking for an agile, detail-oriented Accountant who's not afraid to colour outside the lines, innovate, and roll with the punches. Based at our Cape Town office, this role supports the financial operations of several companies within our Western Cape group.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across multiple group entities.
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions including reconciliations, invoicing, and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly management reports and assist with consolidated financials.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure full compliance with South African tax and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with audits, year-end processes, and financial reviews.
- Improve and streamline financial systems and procedures.
- Work closely with operations teams across our Western Cape businesses.
- Contribute financial insight to new initiatives and ongoing projects.
- A team player who's not afraid to challenge the norm and find better ways of doing things.
- A keen eye for detail and a drive to get things right the first time.
- The ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines calmly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A mindset that thrives on collaboration and creative problem-solving.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years' experience in a full accounting role.
- Hospitality experience advantageous.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of South African accounting, tax, and regulatory standards.
- Experience working across multiple businesses or industries is an advantage.
- Professional certification (e.g., SAIPA, SAICA, or equivalent) required.
