Job Description

Main Purpose:

To provide accurate financial reporting and compliance to internal controls, recording and reporting to ensure controls are maintained in specific finance related functions/procedures relating to stock management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll administration for the Rustenburg and Mafikeng Depots. The successful candidate will be based in Rustenburg Depot.

Job Objectives

  • To support asset management and prevent theft through the implementation and reporting of stock management controls.
  • To process transactions relating to all debtors, creditors, payroll and cash book to prevent misappropriation of company funds.
  • To ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial information through:
    • stock variance reports, open payables and debtors age analysis
    • Maintain accurate data management on GP and other systems
    • Preparing month end accruals
    • Balancing intercompany loan accounts
  • Drive cost management improvements through participation in Invocoms, guidance in terms of waste management and cost savings opportunities
  • Track and report waste and conversation per site against budget and withing corporate guidelines.
  • Assist Site Accountant to manage outsourced labour costs in line with budget through ongoing reporting
