Position: Content Design & Copywriting Specialist

Introduction

As the Content Design & Copywriting Specialist at Wamly, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the voice of our brand. This position is responsible for developing compelling, high-quality content that builds authority, drives lead generation, and boosts customer engagement. From SEO-driven blogs to persuasive sales collateral and email campaigns, you’ll work across teams to ensure our content is aligned with marketing and business objectives.

This is a key role in supporting Wamly’s mission to lead the HR tech space with insightful, engaging, and high-converting content.


Requirements

Minimum education (essential):

Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field


Minimum applicable experience:

3+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or journalism


Required nature of experience:

Writing content for B2B SaaS or tech companies

• Creating SEO-optimised blog posts, case studies, and email campaigns

• Working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams

• Managing brand tone and storytelling across digital platforms


Skills and Knowledge (essential):

Excellent writing, storytelling, and brand messaging skills

• Understanding of SEO best practices and content optimisation

• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Zoho)

• Experience using CRM systems and marketing automation tools

• Ability to write for various formats including blogs, web pages, whitepapers, and social media

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines


Skills and Knowledge (desirable):

Experience in B2B content strategy development

• Basic understanding of HTML or CMS tools (e.g., WordPress)

• Understanding of the HR tech landscape or interest in HR topics


Other:

Must be able to work from our office based in Irene, Centurion, 3 days a week


Responsibilities

Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with SEO, thought leadership, and lead generation goals

• Write engaging, high-quality blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and email marketing content

• Optimise website and landing page copy for clarity, conversion, and user experience

• Collaborate with Product Marketing to craft impactful product content and sales collateral

• Create social media content that positions Wamly as a thought leader in the HR space

• Support event marketing with promotional content, landing pages, and post-event recaps
