POS System Management
Configure, install, and maintain POS systems (e.g., GAAP , Pilot, Micros) across multiple locations.
Ensure systems are up-to-date, fully operational, and aligned with business needs.
Handle menu programming, system updates, and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
Data Management and Reporting
Maintain data integrity and accuracy within the POS systems for reliable reporting and analysis.
Extract, analyze , and report data to support performance reviews and strategic decisions.
Monitor and improve data flow related to transactions, sales, and configurations.
Technical Support
Provide first-line support for POS-related issues, minimizing operational downtime.
Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve complex issues and enhance system performance.
Address system glitches promptly to ensure seamless store operations.
Training and User Support
Train store and head office teams on effective use and best practices of POS systems.
Develop and distribute user guides and troubleshooting materials for ongoing support.
Provide hands-on assistance to store teams, ensuring optimal system usage.
System Integration and Upgrades
Lead integrations of new POS features or upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption.
Work with external vendors and IT partners to implement system enhancements.
Conduct regular audits and suggest optimizations to improve system efficiency.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
Serve as the primary liaison with POS vendors for contract management and service delivery.
Stay updated on POS technology trends and recommend system improvements.
Work closely with store teams to identify needs and implement user-friendly solutions.
Proven experience managing and supporting POS systems (e.g., GAAP , Pilot, Micros) in hospitality or retail.
Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and training skills to support both technical and non-technical users.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
Experience with data management, system integration, and vendor coordination.
Flexibility to travel regularly to various store locations as required
