KEY Accountabilities
- Build, develop, and prospect the East & West African markets in alignment with business targets.
- Establish, maintain, and develop relationships with clients, agents, and the consultant network.
- Analyze technical and commercial specifications issued by clients and coordinate internally to offer the right technical solutions.
- Develop final proposals from various technical and commercial inputs and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Act as an intermediary link between clients and engineering teams.
- Stay updated on offered solutions, products, and services, and collaborate closely with internal technical experts and the standardizing team.
- Revenue Growth: Increase turnover while respecting margin requirements.
- Provide regular status updates on quotations and project progress and analyze sales data to support company development.
- Report to the General Manager Africa.
- MSc degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or Commercial) and at least five years of experience in a technical-commercial position, ideally in an industrial or technical environment in East & West Africa.
- Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills.
- A self-driven team player, pro-active, and hands-on.
- Fluent knowledge of English is a must. Any other languages are an asset.
- Good understanding of the East & West-African market and able to develop the business in your region.
- Ability to learn quickly and bring creative solutions to problems
- Have an analytical and structured approach along with a “w …?” m in proposing solutions to Customers.
- Willingness to travel frequently (30-50%).
