What you will be doing:

• Act as a business partner to the Commercial department.
• Analyse sales on a weekly,monthly and annual basis.
• Trend analysis of sales
• Profitability of product mix and product range
• Analyse financial performance and variance against the Commercial budget
• Provide insights to support strategic decision making.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial department on all sales and marketing.
• Calculate Profit and Loss (P&L) for both current and new Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) as requested.
• Drive continuous financial improvement within the Commercial department.
• Assist in evaluating new business opportunities, pricing strategies and contact negotiations.
• Perform financial management duties, including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analysing industry trends, and assessing the company's financial health.
• Develop reports to assist the Commercial department.
• Track key financial KPI’s example revenue growth, margin and Return on Investments.
• Prepare monthly income statements for the Commercial department.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the Commercial department.
• Leverage data analytics to identify trends and optimize financial performance. 
• Collaborate with marketing to align financial strategies with market trends.

Qualification Requirements:

• Degree in Finance
• Qualified Charted Accountant (CA)
• 8-10 years of experience in Finance
• Experience in FMCG
• Syspro experience an advantage
