The EMEA / UK&I Tax Manager will be a key member of Numerator International finance team, reporting to the Numerator International EMEA / UK&I Regional Controller in the Control & Accounting function, but with key collaborators in the Tax team - particularly the Numerator International Global Tax Director

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and regional tax regulations, handling relationships with local tax advisors, and collaborating closely with external auditors and regulatory bodies

- Coordinate and handle the work of the outsourced tax compliance provider, including preparation of documentation for tax returns, statutory accounts, sales and use tax compliance, and other tax compliance matters.
- Be responsible for inputs into the tax compliance process from the remote controlling teams.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of tax liability and expense accounts, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Review billings, expenses and assets to guarantee detailed tax assessment.
- Maintain and update tax calendars to meticulously track all filing requirements.
- Be responsible for the completion of tax registrations, business licenses, and miscellaneous tax filings.
- Conduct comprehensive research on tax issues and stay updated on law changes, providing guidance to the team.
- Support internal and external audits, including ensuring timely clearance of auditor findings and management recommendations.
- Serve as a liaison between the tax department and other corporate accounting functions. Drive input to special projects as the need arises.
- Member of a professional accounting body, or equivalent professional qualification
- Proven experience in accounting and tax, with significant exposure to tax compliance and management.
- Good knowledge of local GAAP
- Understanding of US GAAP would be desirable
- Previous experience with Netsuite and OneStream would be desirable
- Strong technical knowledge and experience of practical application of regulatory requirements and tax principles
- Experience of working with an offshore transaction processing team
- Ability to collaborate and establish relationships across the business (at all levels)
- Attention to detail and an inquisitive nature
- Comfortable handling key relationships with external finance parties and service providers
- An ability to work simultaneously and effectively to progress several different tasks whilst to working to tight deadlines, including an ability to effectively prioritise
