What We Are Looking For

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To supervise the production of NC on a daily basis, execution of production plan, ensure adherence to the OHS Act, NEMA, basic conditions of employment act, explosives regulations, all company procedures, etc

Key Responsibilities


  • Execution of production plan as per MPS
  • Ensure that all relevant Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Explosive regulatory requirements/ systems or standards are adhered to
  • Manage all process and equipment changes via the applicable modifications procedures
  • Accountable for the Facility Operating Instructions for all facilities and also for the training of all employees
  • Accountable for ensuring that manufacturing of products occur as per the Product Manufacturing Instructions and the Quality Control Plan
  • Accountable in ensuring that all employees are trained on the relevant safety, quality and operational documentation pertaining to their jobs. For example; (including but not limited to; FOIs, PMIs, Control Plans, HIRAs, permits, etc.)
  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement within their facilities
  • Utilising the company’s ERP/MES/Systems to monitor, record & control plant performance
  • Responsible for the issue of safe work permits, job cards, exit permits, etc
  • Responsible for filing and record keeping of all quality, SHE documentation, i.e. COA’s, appointment letters, etc.
  • Responsible for the budgets under his/her control


What Qualifications You Should Have

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum qualification: National Diploma in Engineering/ Science.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supervision of production plant
  • Must be able to work in a team and lead from the front
  • Must be computer literate, MS Office, ERP and MES systems
  • Must be able to work shifts and overtime on short notice
  • Must be able to work ROTA shift when production plan requires
