- Work closely with the Controller to improve and streamline the month-end close process
- Oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments, including bonuses and incentive compensation
- Review and process additional pay items (e.g. W-2s, 1099s), and verify payroll tax filings for compliance and accuracy
- Manage accounts payable: review, code, and process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and corporate card transactions in line with policies

- Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and special projects to support business decisions and improve efficiency
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership
- Comfortable working in a remote-first organization and building relationships virtually
- Tech-savvy and enthusiastic about implementing efficient, scalable processes
- Strong communicator — able to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, with exposure to payroll and accounts payable
- Experience in healthcare services is a strong plus
