Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or Biotechnology (NQF Level 7).
- Up to 6 years in food safety, quality control, or assurance.
- Proven experience in audit leadership and management system implementation.

- Project Management, Technical Expertise, Cross-functional Awareness
- Leadership in Change Management and Building Effective Teams
Role & Responsibilities:
Lead & Inspire:
- Champion a culture of quality and safety across teams.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing QFS team.
- Drive engagement and performance through coaching and communication.
- Support company values and champion training and development initiatives.
Ensure Compliance Excellence:
- Oversee ISO (22000, 9001, 17025) and regulatory compliance.
- Lead internal and external audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Maintain certifications and elevate QFS standards.
Drive Strategy & Innovation:
- Align QFS initiatives with business goals.
- Contribute to cost-saving strategies and policy development.
- Lead continuous improvement and risk management projects.
Be the Technical Expert:
- Provide legal, technical, and advisory support.
- Develop training materials and policy manuals.
- Represent QFS in cross-functional committees.
Manage Supplier & Incident Protocols:
- Ensure supplier compliance and performance.
- Maintain accurate incident records and drive timely resolutions.
