Job Description

The role of a Forex Product House (FXPH) UX/UI Designer is integral to delivering exceptional user experiences and interfaces that meet both FX and FRG business goals and user needs. These designers are responsible for ensuring the usability, accessibility, and visual appeal of a product, helping users navigate efficiently and intuitively while achieving their objectives.

Core Functions

  • User experience (UX) design
  • Focus on creating seamless and intuitive user journeys, ensuring the product meets user needs and expectations.
  • Conduct user research (e.g., surveys, interviews, usability testing) to understand pain points, behaviors, and motivations.
  • Develop user personas, user flows, and wireframes to define the overall structure and interaction design of the product.
  • User Interface (UI) design
  • Create visually appealing interfaces that are consistent with brand identity and enhance usability.
  • Design high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and interactive elements that ensure an engaging and responsive user experience.
  • Work closely with ba’s, system analysts and developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Prototyping and testing
  • Develop interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and gather user feedback.
  • Conduct usability testing, analyze user behavior, and refine designs based on insights to optimize the user experience.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, systsem analysts developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between design, functionality, and business goals.
  • Communicate design ideas and decisions effectively, incorporating feedback and making iterative improvements.
  • Consistency and design systems
  • Maintain and adhere to design systems and guidelines to ensure visual and functional consistency across platforms.
  • Establish ui components, styles, and patterns that streamline design processes and ensure a cohesive experience.

Key Tasks

  • User research: conduct interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights that inform design decisions.
  • Wireframing and prototyping: create low and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design mockups using figma.
  • Visual design: develop ui elements such as buttons, icons, typography, color schemes, and layouts that create a visually compelling user interface.
  • Collaboration: regularly communicate with developers and stakeholders to ensure that designs are feasible, functional, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Usability testing: conduct usability tests to evaluate how users interact with the product and iterate on designs based on feedback.

Measures Of Success

  • User satisfaction: positive user feedback and high levels of user satisfaction, as measured through surveys, nps (net promoter score), and other metrics.
  • Usability improvements: demonstrable improvements in user interaction and task completion rates after design changes are implemented.
  • Design consistency: a cohesive and consistent design system applied across all platforms and products.
  • Product adoption: increased adoption and engagement with the product due to intuitive and attractive design.

Job Requirements

  • Graphic Design, Information Technology or any other related qualification
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Solid experience in Figma for creating wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes
  • Extensive knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of AI prompting language highly advantageous
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator advantageous
