About the role:

This is a hands-on role at a small, fast-growing startup, TEG Impact Solutions focused on tech and supply solutions across Africa. We're looking for someone curious, driven, and ready to grow. You'll work directly with the founder, handling product research, building catalogs, and supporting tender submissions. Its a great fit for someone who wants real experience in a startup environment and is eager to learn by doing.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Research & Catalog Development

  • Conduct in-depth market and product research across tech and impact-driven sectors
  • Source and evaluate manufacturers and suppliers (pricing, MOQ, product lifecycle, quality standards)
  • Build and maintain a detailed, dynamic product catalog (Excel-based)
  • Identify high-value, relevant products for African markets
  • Support basic business development activities by researching market gaps and trends


Tender Administration & Business Support

  • Assist in preparing tender submissions (writing, pricing, documentation)
  • Maintain an organized filing system for tenders, supplier info, and pricing files
  • Track tender outcomes and maintain status reports
  • Contact prospective clients and suppliers across Africa
  • Support general admin and project tasks


Requirements:

  • Strong Excel skills (data structuring, formulas, basic dashboards)
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, can work independently
  • Own laptop and Wi-Fi required
  • Bonus: Experience or interest in tendering, supply chain, or catalog building
