We are currently looking for an experienced Marketing Lead for Africa. This role plays a critical part in driving business growth across African markets through strategic marketing leadership, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will lead the marketing team, shape and execute marketing strategies that expand FMC’s footprint, enhance brand visibility, and deliver value to growers and partners across the continent.

- Strategic Marketing Leadership Develop and execute regional marketing strategies that support FMC’s commercial objectives in Africa. Lead go-to-market planning for new and existing products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Market & Customer Insights Conduct market research, segmentation, and customer analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform product positioning.
- Product Portfolio Manage product portfolio, lead product positioning activities to create and capture value through differentiated product and service offerings. Manage execution of product launches. Ensure alignment with local market needs in addition to, regional and global marketing frameworks.
- Stakeholder Engagement Organize, participate and lead high-impact events such as field demonstrations, industry events and targeting key value chain stakeholders, distribution partners, and growers.
- Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Regulatory Affairs, Development, Communications, Digital, and Customer Experience teams to build and deliver integrated campaigns.
- Value Proposition Create compelling value proposition activity frameworks that show and communicate the value of FMC solutions to our diverse African customer base,
- Performance Monitoring Monitor customer needs, track and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Use insights to continuously improve strategy and optimize ROI.
- A degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 5–7 years of experience in senior marketing or portfolio management roles within the crop protection or agribusiness sector.
- Good Leadership and collaboration are a must.
- Demonstrated success in managing regional initiatives across diverse African markets.
- In-depth knowledge of the agricultural sector, particularly crop protection; understanding of crop nutrition is an advantage.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and networking capabilities.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel across Africa.
