The Senior Lodge Manager will take full responsibility for the daily operations of the lodge. This includes managing departmental teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage. You will be tasked with upholding the highest standards in guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, team performance, and property presentation.
This role suits a dynamic, people-oriented leader who is passionate about hospitality in a nature-based setting and thrives under pressure. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach, strong leadership presence, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating the seamless operation of all lodge departments
Managing and mentoring HODs and staff to ensure service excellence
Controlling budgets, stock, procurement, and financial reporting
Maintaining property standards in line with brand expectations
Personally engaging with guests and handling VIP needs
Ensuring staff morale and development are prioritised
Minimum 5 years' experience in senior lodge or hotel management
Strong operational and administrative abilities
Proven team leadership and development experience
Ability to work in a remote, isolated environment
South African citizenship or valid work permit
Valid driver’s license
