Our client, a reputable hospitality group with multiple venues in KwaZulu-Natal, seeks an enthusiastic and hands-on Assistant Banqueting Manager to support the Banqueting Manager in executing high-quality events.
From intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences, you will assist in overseeing every aspect of the banqueting operation, ensuring the highest standards of service and coordination are consistently met.
The ideal candidate will work closely with kitchen, service, and sales teams to ensure successful execution of each event.
This role requires flexibility, great people skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
You will help manage staff rosters, monitor event setups and breakdowns, and liaise with clients to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role in a hotel or event venue
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays
Hands-on leadership style and strong team player
Experience with banqueting software or hotel systems is a plus
Between 1 - 3 Years
