Reach Truck Operator

Role Purpose,

Join Lactalis at our site in DC Kyalami Warehouse and take on the challenge of a Reach Truck Operator. Successful candidates must have Grade 12 or equivalent. , Requirements,

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Medically fit in accordance with BCEA.
• At least 2 years’ experience of Reach Truck Operating
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays as per operational requirements.
• Must have a sense of urgency, work independently and be a team player.
• Attention to detail.

, Duties and Responsibilities,

• Operating a reach truck and forklift according to the warehouse requirements and in accordance with relevant safety procedures
• Complete daily check sheets on forklift / reach truck equipment and batteries
• Responsible for battery charging area
• Ensure that tasks are accurately completed within the given time frame
• Ensure that the warehouse is neatly packed, and pallets are stacked correctly
• Assist in stock verification and stock takes as required
• Receiving stock from Production on a daily basis (correct SKU, Description, Production date, Expiry date, pallet configurations and Batch detail.
