Role Overview
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, cybersecurity and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Azure: Cloud infrastructure design, cost estimation, deployment, support, cybersecurity compliance, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Server Administration: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work with business users and analysts to deliver solutions aligned with ALM processes.
- Technical Expertise: Mid to senior-level Microsoft engineering with SQL and server environment experience.
- Qualifications: Senior Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent. Bachelors in Computer Science or related field. Current Azure certifications are essential.
- Experience: 5+ years in large Microsoft enterprise environments (500+ users).
- Technical Skills: Active Directory, IIS, Hyper-V, Microsoft Management tools (SCOM, SCCM, etc.), networking, scripting (PowerShell, XML), SQL Server, Azure PaaS/IaaS/SaaS, clustering, and security best practices.
- Salary: R550K + bonus + benefits (negotiable)
