Purpose of Role
Reporting to the E-Learning Coordinator, this role will assist in the management of content on the Funda Wande E-Learning platforms, which include but not limited to the E-Learning website, Main website, Learner Management Systems, and WhatsApp Chatbot(s) and administration support.
Objectives of Role
Learner Management Systems (LMS)
- Assist with the development, delivery, and administration of online courses.
- Support in the migration, uploading and managing of course contents.
- Assist with Testing, troubleshooting and deploying updates.
- Assist in developing training packs/materials.
Chatbot Development Support
- Assist with the content and performance of the WhatsApp Chatbot for eLective learning
experiences. - Liaise with partners re: Chatbot updates, reports, project milestones & other.
- Supporting e-learning coordinator facilitate stakeholder engagements/trainings.
Administration
- Coordinate all e-learning/media tasks, meetings and events for each month on Monday.com and other applications.
- Developing and populating reporting templates.
- Ensure invoices are authorized and processed for payment.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in working with Apple Mac systems.
- Able to implement and manage workflow systems.
- Time management and keeping to deadlines.
Experience and Qualifications
- Alignment with the Funda Wande’s Vision, Mission & Values.
- Have a minimum qualification of matric or Bachelor’s degree in communications, Media Studies, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Are between 18 and 34 years of age.
- Have never held a full-time position before and preferably have not participated on a learnership or internship before.
- Live within 50 kms from our offices/site, which is situated at Black River Park, 2 Fir Street, Observatory.
- Are not currently in full time studies and able to attend this internship full time.
- Are willing to be subjected to a credit and criminal check or any industry specific checks required for your job role.
- Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups and people with disabilities in accordance with the organisation employment equity plan.
