- Ensures the effective Calibration and Validation of Laboratory Equipment and Instrumentation For SANBS and NBI
- Undertakes the maintenance, servicing and cleaning of laboratory equipment,instruments, alarms and recording devices for SANBS and NBI
- Undertakes repairs and maintenance of laboratory equipment for SANBS and NBI
- Ensures that Tools are maintained and signed for in and out of stock
- Undertakes Administrative Duties effectively and efficiently
- Manufacturing specialised equipment for SANBS and NBI

Education
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Electronics Certificate or National diploma electronics.
- Certified and registered Metrologist by National laboratory association as part of the Mertcert program.
- Instrumentation trade test.
- 5-10 Years experience in Repairing and Calibrating Laboratory Equipment.
