Job Description

Key Performance Areas

  • Ensures the effective Calibration and Validation of Laboratory Equipment and Instrumentation For SANBS and NBI
  • Undertakes the maintenance, servicing and cleaning of laboratory equipment,instruments, alarms and recording devices for SANBS and NBI
  • Undertakes repairs and maintenance of laboratory equipment for SANBS and NBI
  • Ensures that Tools are maintained and signed for in and out of stock
  • Undertakes Administrative Duties effectively and efficiently
  • Manufacturing specialised equipment for SANBS and NBI

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Electronics Certificate or National diploma electronics.
  • Certified and registered Metrologist by National laboratory association as part of the Mertcert program.
  • Instrumentation trade test.

Experience And Knowledge Requirements

  • 5-10 Years experience in Repairing and Calibrating Laboratory Equipment.
