Job Purpose

To facilitate and integrate alignment to Nedbank Human Resources processes and practices and provide advice and services to optimise Human Capital within Nedbank CIB by operating as a strategic business partner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Align HR objectives with business strategy by participating in business planning and translating strategic goals into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Consult and ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and labour legislation across the full HR value chain.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity, support transformation goals, and monitor employment equity trends to drive corrective actions.
  • Analyse HR related data, culture surveys and feedback from focus groups to identify, manage, and deliver HR projects that address business needs and support transformation and change initiatives.
  • Successfully obtain acceptance and buy-in from stakeholders for proposed HR projects and change initiatives that deliver value, long term efficiency, productivity and sustainability to the business.
  • Review and enhance HR processes, systems, and work methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gain buy-in for HR projects, systems, and services.
  • Identify people-related risks and integrate risk management into HR practices.
  • Continuously develop HR expertise and share knowledge through collaboration, training, and thought leadership.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

Honours HR related degree

Preferred Certifications

SABPP registration preferred, IPM registration preferred

Minimum Experience Level

3 - 5 years experience in HR generalist consulting role

Experience within a CIB environment
