Job Advert Summary
The role of the SCM Support Services Manager is responsible for planning, organising, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, evaluation, control and leading integrated support services for the supply chain value chainMinimum Requirements
- NQF level 7 qualification in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Project Management, Business Administration or Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Minimum 4 years' relevant working experience.
- Eligibility to be registered with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)
Primary Duties
- Monitoring of the Division’s goals, objectives, key performance indicators and targets and provide necessary support
- Management of the SCM Secretariat function
- Development and implementation of the Division’s procurement plan
- Provision of financial support services to the Division and ensure expenditure targets are met.
- Enhancing service delivery through administration and management of the SCM Service Desk
- Liaison with external and internal assurance providers including tracking, responding to requests for information and reporting of relevant SCM information to external regulators
