Eduvos is looking to employ the services of an Accreditation and Quality Assurance Officer on a permanent basis, to be based at any of our National Eduvos campuses, preferably at our Eduvos Midrand campus.

Purpose of the role:

To provide administrative and coordination support to the accreditation and quality assurance processes of Eduvos.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualification level:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • A postgraduate qualification will be advantageous

Minimum experience:

  • At least four to six years’ experience in a higher education governance administrative role

Duties and Responsibilities

As the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responcible for the following:

  • Coordinate, schedule, and monitor the various documents and processes with internal and external stakeholders involved in the full accreditation cycle (including but not limited to new programme submissions, extensions, new sites, representations, and site visits)
  • Develop a streamlined and efficient document management system and ensure compliance of such
  • Project manage the curation of the required evidence needed for accreditation compliance and other governance functions
  • QA all administrative evidence provided for accreditation matters (including but not limited to new programme submissions, extensions, new sites, representations, and site visits) and provide guidance and feedback to faculties and campuses
  • Develop, compile, quality assure and manage documentation for accreditation and governance
  • Communicate and guide stakeholders on the procedures, practices, and workflows of the Accreditation Office, to facilitate seamless submissions, site visits and other requirements to keep accreditation enforce
  • Draft communication and maintain relationships to resolve accreditation and related queries and complaints with key internal and external stakeholders

  • Firm understanding of academic regulatory frameworks governing institutional and programme accreditation and governance of a higher education institution
  • Understanding of the quality assurance and accreditation processes of the CHE
  • Data management skills
  • Must be able to work regulator’s systems e.g. HEQC online
  • Project and stakeholder management skills
