A Snapshot of Your Day

The Lead Technician is responsible for assisting with planning, monitoring, controlling, organising and execution of all activities associated with the planned and unplanned maintenance of wind turbines for a specific site, whilst adhering to accepted safety, quality and performance standards.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Assistance with planning, monitoring, controlling and prioritising maintenance activities to ensure alignment with safety, quality, and performance standards.

• Execution of planned and unplanned maintenance of turbines on site.
• Ensure all tasks are performed according to SGRE manuals, quality and safety standards and customer safety rules.
• Ensure effective capturing of data associated with maintenance activities to ensure proper functioning of the maintenance management system, i.e. registration of hours, works order management, etc.
• Reporting of faults and defects on the turbine to the relevant SGRE Department.
• The employee is obligated to keep him- or herself informed of the quality system and the procedures related to the position and to work in accordance with the requirements defined in the quality system.
• The employee is obligated to keep him- or herself informed of the safety, health and environmental management system and the procedures related to the position. The employee is obligated to respond to deviations observed from the procedures and to contribute to activities to improve the working environment.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Wind Technician or in a similar engineering role.
• Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine systems and components.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certification in wind turbine maintenance and safety is preferred.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
