The Role


Beautiful 4-star resort seeks an exceptional Housekeeper to manage this up-market establishment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, including staff supervision and training.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and make recommendations to the facility.
  • Manage the housekeeping staff, planning work and staffing schedules.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Schedule inventory management, and coordinate with other departments.
  • Keep track of stock and order as required.
  • Share in handling the front office, reception and the duties therein as and when required.

Skills and Experience


REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

  • As this is a managerial position incumbent must be experienced in taking charge.
  • Needs Computer literacy. Semper an advantage.
  • Very good English.
  • Mature, responsible, observant and friendly behaviour.
  • Polite and professional.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Understand how to work with staff of longstanding.
  • Insist on extremely high standards.
  • Own transport and driver’s licence required.

Other
  • Work 6 days a week.
  • One weekend off a month.
  • Annual leave to be taken during quiet periods and not school holidays.
