As a Finance Data Administrator, you’ll be supporting the delivery of all payment processor data imported to the financial system, ensuring it is complete, accurate and timeous. This role is also responsible for data analysis, reporting and engaging with key stakeholders within the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

Data Integration & Investigations

  • Analyse Cognos reports, data tables, and various data feeds using SQL and other analytical tools to identify data anomalies and implement necessary changes.
  • Ensure data integrity within ERP systems.
  • Review and verify documentation for new payment processors, including fee structures, transaction types, and contractual agreements.
  • Support the onboarding process for new processors, entities, and market entries within the finance function.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Software Development teams to ensure finance systems are equipped to support new product launches.
  • Perform data mapping for both new and existing processors to enable accurate ledger reporting in Navision/Business Central.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies to ensure accurate posting to Navision/Business Central.
  • Act as a liaison between the ledger team and external data sources, addressing queries and coordinating meetings to maintain alignment.
  • Communicate new processes and reporting requirements clearly to relevant finance team members.

Administrative Support

  • Submit new starter requests and manage merchant access form processes.
  • Maintain and update processor and vendor data across finance systems.
  • Provide ad-hoc support on finance-related projects.
  • Log and monitor task tickets for the team, provide status updates, and ensure timely resolution with appropriate departments.

Audit & Reporting

  • Assist in fulfilling website sample data requests and provide data snippets as required.
  • Liaise with auditors during data walkthroughs and respond to audit-related queries.

Essential Skills You’ll Bring To The Table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

  • Completed Financial and/or Information Systems qualification
  • Previous experience working with numbers and large amounts of data
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Financial accounting transactions knowledge
  • Experience with accounting software packages
  • Experience in Reconciliation of data, identifying and resolving queries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving ability

Desirable Skills You’ve Got Up Your Sleeve

  • Working knowledge and experience with Confluence
  • Experience with SQL data analytics
